Guidance for Video and Phone Visits

Video Visit

    • You will receive a text or email (whichever you prefer) with a link to a secure video call prior to your video visit with us.

    • If you have not received a link by the morning of your visit, feel free to contact us.

    • We recommend you have someone with you to help hold the camera at different positions during the visit.

    • Click on the link that you received at your scheduled visit time to enter the video visit.

    • If the doctor is not already on the visit, we will communicate with you to let you know of any issues or delays.

    • If there are technical issues, we will try to troubleshoot the issues with you.

    • If you get disconnected, you can first try to re-click the same link you used at first. If not, the doctor will try to call you and troubleshoot the issues.

    • Note: You may be asked to prop the video up (or have someone else hold the device) for parts of the visit.

    • Feel free to ask any questions you may still have at the end of the visit.

    • You will not be asked to pay for the visit until a later time. Feel free to ask us any questions about your payment.

    • You will schedule any future visits with the doctor at the end of your video visit.

Phone Visit

    • Please ensure you that you have provided us with your preferred phone number. Feel free to contact us to confirm this.

    • You will receive a call at the time of your visit. If you are not in a private area, please be sure that the people around are people that you authorize to receive information regarding your health.

    • The doctor will let you know if there are any delays or issues.

    • If there are technical issues, the doctor will try to troubleshoot the issues with you.

    • If you get disconnected, the doctor will try to call you at the same number.

    • If there continues to be issues, the doctor will try to contact you another way.

    • Feel free to ask any questions you may still have at the end of the visit.

    • You will not be asked to pay for the visit until later. Feel free to ask us any questions about your payment.

    • You will schedule any future visits with the doctor at the end of your phone visit.
