• HIPAA stands for The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 - it helped set a federal standard for protecting your sensitive health information from being used in wrongful ways or even ways in which did not consent.

Steps We Have Taken:

• Third-party services - we only work with third-party vendors who are compliant with HIPAA and agree to uphold the same level of security that we uphold under federal and state law. This includes our vendors for:

  • Fax services

  • Phone and voicemail services

  • Video telehealth services

  • Electronic medical record system

  • Patient portal

  • Billing and payment processing
